City Services:

Water / Sewer Billing:  Bills are sent out monthly, and are due on the 15th of the month.  After the due date, a 2% late charge is assessed.  If a bill is more than 60 days late, it is considered delinquent, and service will be terminated.  Renters must pay a $75 deposit.  Please call city hall for a final reading when you move.

Garbage:  Garbage is picked up each Monday.  Please have your garbage out by 6:00 AM.  Each resident is allowed 4, 30 gallon containers.  If you have more than this, you must buy a sticker at city hall.  On major holidays, your garbage will be picked up the following day.  If you have a problem, please call the garbage company and report it.  Their telephone number is 284-2432.

Landscape Waste:  All weeds, branches, etc., from your yard must be put in paper 30 gallon biodegradable bags.  Call City Hall to schedule pickup.

Leaf Burning:  Leaves, weeds and branches (only) may be burned year round.  They cannot be burned on the street, and may only be burned during the daylight hours.  Please do not leave unattended, and do not burn wet yard waste.

Building Permits:  Please get your permit at city hall before you begin building.  Permits are needed for all new construction (room addition, garage, carport, and fences).  If you have any questions, please call our building inspector, Rick Ketchum, at 857-2283.

City Council Meeting:  Council meetings are held the 3rd Monday of each month at the Community Center, starting at 7:00 PM.  You are welcome to attend.
